The property is housed in a historic building dating back to the early 18th century, an old farmhouse that has been carefully renovated over time to provide modern comforts without losing its original character and atmosphere. Surrounded by a large garden overlooking the river and the greenery of the surrounding countryside, the hotel offers a relaxing and authentic setting, ideal for both short stays and longer holidays exploring the area.

The hotel is family-run, helping to create a warm and informal atmosphere. Guests are welcomed with genuine friendliness and simplicity, in keeping with Tuscan tradition, in a setting that combines hospitality, tranquillity and close contact with nature.

Hotel Molino d’Era offers a large private car park, particularly convenient for guests travelling by car who wish to explore the Val di Cecina, the Pisan hills and the area’s medieval villages at their own pace. Additional facilities include a petrol station and a café and tobacconist, a convenient stop for both hotel guests and travellers looking for breakfast, a coffee or a short break.

The hotel does not have an on-site swimming pool; however, guests may use the pool at our Agriturismo Santa Vittoria, located just 1 km away. The recently built pool lies below a beautiful panoramic terrace and offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside. It is generally open from late April until mid-October, weather permitting, and is the perfect place to relax on warmer days.

One of the property’s highlights is its renowned restaurant, which has long been appreciated by both hotel guests and passing travellers. Here you can enjoy traditional home-style Tuscan cuisine, prepared according to local tradition with carefully selected ingredients.
